ENTUH ENTERTAINMENT CONTEST RULES: Youthful Expressions Contest Rules

ENTUH Entertainment is proud to present our first annual “Get ENTUH Art” Youth Competition, entitled Youthful Expressions. In our effort to expand the expression(s) of today’s youth & young people, we have created a healthy artistic competition that allows the contestant(s) to express themselves creatively through art. Either by way of words (i.e. poetry), song (i.e. voice) or painting(s)/line drawing(s), each artist is asked to submit qualifying material that expresses the condition of “their” community. Each artist is asked to submit original work, unless otherwise specified. Either the artist or the artists’ legal guardian may submit his/her work. NO third party submissions will be accepted.

Eligibility: ENTUH Entertainment is open to artist of all adolescent ages (beginning at the age of 13-17), regardless of experience or previous publication, except where prohibited. Employees and agents of ENTUH Entertainment, KPVOL10, Kim Perrot Vision of Life Inc and Heathens House Arts & Entertainment, LLC and their immediate families are ineligible and may not enter. Each entrant may submit one manuscript for each category. All submissions become the property of ENTUH Entertainment and will be considered for publication in a forthcoming anthology and may appear on this website. Entrants retain copyrights on his/her individual work. All entries sent by mail must include a completed entry package. All entries sent via website, must include a completed online package. Entrants must complete the entry form in its entirety to qualify for the contest and may submit no more than one manuscript per contest. Entries may not have been published prior to the competition and must be original works by the author.

The application package contains (1) an entry form, (2) a biography, and (3) manuscript for the respective category, for which there are three (3) areas of concentration for this competition: a) poetry, b) vocal & c) painting/line drawing. ALL contestants MUST submit an entry form & a biography, there are a few small deviations for each area. For instance, EACH vocal contestant MUST submit a video of the selection. Although cover songs will be accepted as an acceptable entry, videos will be based on originality, creativity and over-all artistic quality.

Contest Dates: Entries are accepted between the dates of March 1, 2011through December 1, 2011. The deadline for ALL entries, is December 1, 2011. ALL entries (either regular mail or electronic) MUST be post-marked by the deadline date. NO submissions will be accepted after that date.

Selection: Poetry compilations are judged based on originality, creativity, and artistic quality.

Prizes: 1^st Place winners will $200.00, a writing package and will be showcased in a upcoming event (yet to be determined).

2^nd Place winners will a writing package and will be featured in a upcoming event (yet to be determined).

3^rd Place winners will a writing package.

Decisions: The panel of judges consists of members of ENTUH Entertainment, KPVOL10, Kim Perrot Vision of Life and Heathens House Arts & Entertainment, LLC Review Committee. All decisions made by the judges are final.

Fees: There is NO required FEE for entry. There is no financial obligation to win the contest(s).

Copyrights: ALL manuscripts received, will be deemed property of the writer/author. As to respect ALL copyright laws. The author retains all copyrights to the submitted poem. Winning poems will appear online, as well as print publication (ENTUH Magazine) with the copyright notice intact and may be considered for future publication.

Notification: Winners will be announced January 3, 2012. Winners who are not able to attend the presentation ceremony, will be notified via phone or mail. Names of the winners and their respective titles may appear at www.EntuhEntertainment.com.

Privacy Policy: ENTUH Entertainment collects personal information for the purpose of notifying contest winners. All information submitted is kept in confidence, and used solely for notification purposes and shall not be made public. ENTUH Entertainment does not lease, lend, sell, or share personal information collected.
